K.J. Woods Construction, Inc. was formed in 1994 as a General Engineering Contractor and has successfully completed many projects throughout Central and Northern California, including wet and dry utilities, sanitary sewers, storm drains and water mains up to 72″ diameter, using traditional open cut, sectional slip lining, trenchless pipe-bursting and horizontal directional drilling methods, and associated earthworks, cast in place structures and street restoration.
K.J.W. works in both the private and public sectors of the industry, and has developed strong business relationships with many contractors, utility companies and with City, County and State agencies. K.J.W. maintains a competent and fully trained workforce, supported by project managers and supervisors with many years experience in the construction and engineering industries. K.J.W. has an excellent safety record and actively pursue a rigorous Health and Safety program, with team members specializing in confined space, medical response and hazardous materials procedures. K.J.W. enforces a zero tolerance policy towards Drugs and Alcohol in the workplace. K.J.W. owns and operates a comprehensive fleet of equipment including excavators, trenchless drilling and pipe-bursting rigs, pipe cleaning, water and dump trucks inspection and testing equipment and operates its own repair and maintenance facilities.
